The unused area not only was completely overgrown with weeds etc it had excess rubble and rubbish left by builders after an extension was built. 
The area was cleared, weeded, levelled and prepared before being laid with a heavy duty weed control membrane, mot base and finally 20mm shingle. 
Finally finished off with wooden sleepers to divide the edge between the borders and driveway.
